Bike Switzerland Challenge Tour – Day 5
Day 5 of the Bike Switzerland Challenge Tour began with a nice casual ride along Interlaken’s eastern-most lake. Then the road went upward and climbed for some 400+ meters to an area known as Brunig Pass. At the top of the pass, we cycled down into the lakeside city of Lungern where Mark had out lunch waiting. We then split into two groups and cycled past three additional lakes before eventually rolling into the city of Luzern. We were on our own for dinner in Luzern, so I went out alone to meet up with Stef (the woman I rented an apartment from in 2009) and her boyfriend, while the others in the group went out to dinner together.
