greetings darren! thank you for all this great information on your website! my girlfriend and i just bought 2 pocket llamma bike fridays and got the original idea from your website. we chose bikefriday because of the easy transport by airplane, bus, hitchhike, etc... we dont get the bikes till the end of january and will be flying to costa rica feb 1st where we will ride from there to mexico city to fly back to oakland,ca. work for a few months then do another tour through europe. i have done a couple bike tours and have had the times of my life while touring but its been a few years and an getting nervous about what we might encounter unprepared. so i would very much appreciate having this info sent to me that has more ideas about traveling with the folding bikes. i will mention you next time i contact bikefriday. thank you again for your energies put into this site. peace and keep rollin. sincerely michelangelo
