Cental Asia On A Four Wheeled Bicycle Car

April 16, 2009 by

Roger Chao and Megan Kerr are university students from Melborne, Australia who left home this month and departed on a 12 month journey by bike through China, Central Asia and Mongolia.

But they aren’t riding regular touring bikes! No! Actually, they’re riding a custom made four-wheeled bicycle they call “The Quike”.

They are carrying everything they need for the adventure on the back of their slow moving, man powered vehicle… and with plans to ride more than 12,000 km, you know they’ve got one heck of an adventure ahead of them.

Learn more about their epic bicycle touring adventure at: www.steppebysteppe.com.au

I think one of the most interesting pages on their site is the page that details how they made their custom two-person bicycle. Check it out here: http://www.steppebysteppe.com.au/construction.html
