i havent read your book about free lodging, but how does it work, do have to kind of be famous, like having a web page or something ? Cause no hotels gives anything for totally free, they have to get something back…
No, you don’t have to be famous or have a website. Although having a website definitely helps and I talk about that in the book. In the book, I talk about a bunch of things you can do to get the hotels to give you free places to stay, but as you’ve mentioned, most businesses won’t give you something for free without something in return. So in the book I talk about a bunch of different things you can do for the hotels so as to have them give you a free place to stay. One of those things is building a website and getting a bunch of readers at that site. Another thing is doing a bike ride for charity, as the hotel can then give you a free room and they can write off the expense on their taxes. That is another example. So these are some of the things I talk about in the book… and then I tell you how to go about approaching the hotels, what to say, what to not say, what to expect, etc. Hope this helps to answer your question.
