Meet Me In Las Vegas At The Interbike Trade Show

August 27, 2008 by

Interbike Trade ShowSeptember 24 – 26, 2008 marks the dates for the 2008 Interbike trade show, the largest bicycle related exhibition in the Western Hemisphere.

The event is held in Las Vegas, Nevada each year… and according to the Interbike website, the trade show consistently delivers the:

Largest number of new and unique products, from nearly every known bicycle product category under one roof.

Largest gathering of bicycle trade-only industry members in the Western Hemisphere at one time and one place.

Largest number of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and retail businesses at one time and one place.

Largest number of domestic bicycle advocates together at any one time during the year.

Largest selection of retail education sessions offered anywhere.

Largest bicycle product demo held anywhere on the globe.

Largest and most experienced group of event professionals assembled to host Interbike.

There are over 900 different companies scheduled to be in attendance this year… and a record number of attendees have also been projected.

I’m going to be working the show with CycleAware, whose name you might remember from my recent article on selecting a mirror for your bicycle tour. If you are planning to be at Interbike this year, please come by and see me.

The CycleAware booth is #206, which you can locate using the interactive tradeshow floorplan.

In addition to simply coming by to see me, I’m also trying to arrange a possible morning meet up with those of us who are interested in bicycle touring. I’m not sure of the exact time or date yet, but if you are going to be at the Interbike show this year and would be interested in meeting with a group of bicycle touring enthusiasts, please send me an email and as the date draws closer I will notify you of the exact time and location of our meeting.

I’m looking forward to the event… and I hope to see you there!
