November 23, 2008 by

The bicycle industry is changing and new riders are being introduced every day. But how do the clothes you wear affect your ride, your safety, and the way others view you? To find out what kind of trends are emerging in regards to bicycle fashion, I talked with Amy Walker from Momentum Magazine and asked her about the future of bicycle clothing.

Momentum Magazine is GREAT. I was reading my copy as this post came through. Love the positive, can do articles, and awareness that most of us are not racers but love the bicycling lifestyle.

What a pleasure to have heard this interview! Bicycling is such a freeing experience. Wearing our every day clothing, for comfort and ease in transitioning to our daily world off of the bike is so important. New cyclists are not often able to spend the hundreds of dollars necessary to wear spandex, goretex and merino.

Hopefully many will hear this interview, become inspired and bike to the grocery store today, and to work tomorrow.

    Thanks Darren. Great job Momentum.
