Hello! This is Darren Alff here… and I’ll be broadcasting live today (November 23rd) at 9 PM Eastern Time. I’ll be talking about the event this weekend, telling some stories from my own bicycle adventures, and then answering any questions you might have about bicycle touring, long distance travel, or or any of the subjects covered this weekend during the first ever Bicycle Touring Pro Lifestyle Web Event.

If you don’t see me on the screen below, it means that the broadcast hasn’t started yet… or you need to refresh your browser. I won’t appear on the screen until 9 PM Eastern time. If you are here early, just hang tight. I’ll be on shortly. If I am not yet on the screen, you will need to refresh your browser every once and a while until I show up.

If you want to ask me a question or simply say hello, leave your message in the comments section at the bottom of this page. I’ll read the comments as I’m on the air and answer as many questions as I can.

If, for some reason, you are having a problem viewing the video or hearing the audio on this screen, try going to: http://www.stickam.com/darrenalff and viewing the video there.

In bike touring you only have basic goals and they are always a challenge to achieve. Do you think this is the satisfying factor of bike touring?

O.K. well nice little web event ,good job.wasnt here for the hole thing but ,eye did check in every so often ,nice info.eye like that you are telling people to just get out there and ride, day trips, weekend ,weeklong months long ,whatever just get out there and ride, thats what we need more people riding ,yeah some folks wont like all the aspects of touring or even any aspects of touring BUT its about the ride ,just down the street to the store or across the country ,the more folks riding the more awareness of bicyclist’s.

  39. Darren Alff on November 23rd, 2008 9:26 pm

For those who participated, would you be doing something like this again? Where I answer your questions about bicycle travel and help you prepare for your own adventures? Let me know! I think it would be fun… but I want to hear what you think.
