The Underseater seat pack from Pacific Outdoor Equipment is a straightforward high-quality waterproof pouch made for carrying your keys, wallet, tool kit, spare tire or whatever else you wish to carry under the saddle of your bicycle.
The pouch comes in three different sizes:
- Small – BU100
- Medium – BU200
- Large – BU300
And is available in three different colors:
- Black/Chrome
- HiVis/Chrome
- Hi-Liter/Chrome (shown in this review)
The seat pack comes with a super high-quality mounting system that attaches to the undercarriage of your bicycle’s saddle with ease. Once installed, the seat pack is easily clipped to the saddle and detaching the pack is as simple as pushing a button and sliding the pack out from underneath the saddle.
With a rugged waterproof design (unique when compared to most seat packs), an external compression strap, and a reflective strip lining the back of the pack, the Pacific Outdoor Equipment Underseater seat pack is one high-quality product.
I’m not a fan of the Hi-Liter yellow color that the company has used both here on this seat pack and on their Front and Rear Fender bicycle panniers, but the products themselves are high-quality and highly recommended.

That would be incredibly useful in locations it rains a lot. I plan on using a plastic bag to cover mine this year, but next year I think I’m going to have to get one of these. Looks amazingly simple to get on and off the bike, unlike “regular” saddle bags that I tend to struggle with. Thanks Darren!
