Romania Is Covered With An Impressive Number Of Dedicated Bicycle Lanes

One of the things I did not expect to see so much of in Romania was dedicated bicycle lanes. I knew that western European countries like Switzerland, Denmark and the Netherlands were covered in cycle paths, but I had no idea an eastern European country like Romania would have so many bike paths. While these separated bike lanes can usually only be found in Romania’s larger cities, they are indeed there… and in many cases, they are being used!
