After three days of bicycle touring in northern Turkey I spent yet another night camped out in the woods. This campsite was right off the road, yet incredibly isolated. I simply rolled my bicycle through an open area filled with grass, cut through a small stand of trees, and then set up my camp on a flat spot to the left. As soon as my tent was set up, the sun fell behind the horizon and I spent the next hour or two reading “Dracula” on my Kindle before nodding off to sleep.
