Watching The Tour De France Racers Cross The Finish Line In Metz, France

After four days of cycling I pulled into Metz, France just in time to see the Tour de France racers dash across the finish line.

I stayed for two nights in Metz with BicycleTouringPro.com reader, Céline Jeanmougin. During my first night in Metz, Céline and I saw the most amazing street performance I have ever witnessed on my travels. During the performance, eight or so musicians dressed in medieval French circus-type costumes were hoisted into the air where they played the bells, drums, and other percussion instruments while twirling around at great heights. A very memorable evening in north-eastern France.
