My Rented Apartment In Brasov, Romania

For the last two weeks or so I’ve been living in a small rented apartment in the city center of Brasov, Romania. I found this apartment on the website www.airbnb.com and it costs me about $30 USD per day. This is the third apartment in the last year that I have rented from AirBNB and it is by far the best of the three. In fact, I like it so much (and I like the city of Brasov so much) that I have extended my stay here and will remain in this apartment until the end of October.

The photo above was taken in Brasov’s main square and my apartment is in a building just off the square, as you can see.

Below is the view from the front door of my apartment, looking back at the central courtyard I have to walk through in order to get to this temporary home of mine in Romania.

Here are some interior shots of the apartment. It has a small hallway, kitchen and bath, as well as a large bedroom with a small desk in the corner and two large windows that face out toward a quaint little parking lot in the back of the building where the city’s historic walls can be viewed. The best thing about this apartment is that it is private and it has super fast wireless Internet.

I’ve rented about a dozen different apartments in various countries all around Europe and this one in Brasov is by far my favorite. I absolutely love it here and I will be sad to say goodbye when I leave at the end of the month.
