Mirrycle Incredibell Bellini Bicycle Bell: Review

The Incredibell Bellini bicycle bell made by the Mirrycle Coorporation in Boulder, Colorado is a small dinging bell made to mount on your bike’s handlebars.

The bell is so small that it measures just 28 mm from one side to the other and it comes in three colors: brass, silver and black. The brass model (show in this review) costs just a bit more than the black and silver models.

If you want a bell for your bike, but don’t want something that takes up a lot of space on your handlebars, the Incredibell Bellini might just be the best bicycle bell you can find.

For such a small bell, the tone is surprisingly large – which is something you need when alerting those in front of you that you are near and/or passing.

The only bad thing about this bell is that it only mounts to handlebars with a diameter of 21 – 22.6 mm. For me, the bell fit perfectly on my small folding bike and on my older Schwinn mountain bike. But the clamp size, because it is so small, was unable to reach around the handlebars on my traditional touring bike. That said, the Mirrycle Coorporation does make bells of other shapes and sizes with mounts that reach around nearly every size handlebar you can think of.

    My Mirrycle Bell has a compass in it. Great for following maps (especially for the directionally challenged!)
    Also, with a little practice, you can vary the volume of the “ding” you send out so you don’t ruin the peaceful sounds along the bikepath by scaring the living daylights out of some poor guy who, after all, got there before you and is minding his own business. And, let’s face it; you’re not going to make any friends, or otherwise be a good ambassador of the sport, if you scare off the birdwatcher’s quarry.
