One of the things I love about bicycle touring is that it gives me time to read. I love reading, but I don’t have as much time for it in my normal every-day life as I would like. On a bicycle tour, however, there is a lot of time to just lay in your tent or (in this case) sit in the woods and read.
I was scheduled to check in to my Brasov, Romania apartment at 6 PM, but I arrived in the city a little after 1 PM. So, with nearly five hours to kill, I cycled around the city for a bit and then pushed my bike up into the woods where I sat down and read for several hours.
In case you are curious, I’m currently reading Zorba The Greek.
You do great work with your camera! What kind is it?
Thanks Jay. I am carrying a whole bunch of camera gear with me. All the details are on this page: http://bicycletouringpro.com/europe-bicycle-tour-packing-list/
Love camera work as always Darren and so pleased to hear you are reading Zorba the Greek – one of my favourites!
