The Netherlands may be one of the most bicycle-friendly countries in the world, but my time in Holland was plagued with rain. Constant, never-ending rain! During my week in the Netherlands I spent a lot of time sitting under bridges, bus stops, and trees hiding from the rain and waiting, thinking, and hoping of better weather.
