I Love Turkey!

I wasn’t sure if I was going to go out today. It rained all night long… and when I woke up this morning it was still raining. “It might just be an inside day,” I told myself. But I needed to get out. So sometime around 2:00 PM I put on my rain jacket and made my way down the hill toward the metro stop. Before I even got to the metro, however, the sun had come out and with it came the very best weather I have had during my month-long stay in Istanbul, Turkey. I spent six hours walking around old town Istanbul and then walked all the way back to my apartment afterward. Days like today make me love Turkey, world travel and this crazy mobile lifestyle that I currently lead.
