Gas Station Rest Day In Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Iceland

We pushed our bikes uphill through the snow, then we were forced to turn around and head back the way we came while cycling through a massive dust storm. By the time we reached the tiny town of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Brandon and I both needed a break. We set up our tents in an empty campground approximately 1 km north of town and then spent most of the following day camped out inside the Kirkjubaejarklaustur N1 gas station, where we surfed the Internet, ate lots of french fries and ice cream, and made friends with the gas station staffers.
